About Us

Hi, welcome to our blog!

Camp Makery is a creative lifestyle destination for original ideas, inspirations, recipes, and easy DIYs. Our mission is to inspire and encourage women to make a life they love; one that is beautiful, creative, healthy, and fulfilled. We love bright colors, good design, making things, and celebrate all things hand-made.

My name is Lauren Weems, and I started Camp Makery as a way to share the creative ideas of my very talented girlfriends and myself. We are all part-owners of this blog, kind of like a blog co-op. Our work has been featured on the Pottery Barn blog, Buzzfeed, Style Me Pretty, Once Wed, Wedding Chicks, Green Wedding shoes, 100 Layer Cake, Occasions Magazine, Brit+Co, This is Glamorous, DIY Magazine, Weddings Nouveau Magazine, and many more! We launched in October 2013 and have been steadily growing ever since. Myself and one other blogger live in the San Fransisco bay area, but my girlfriends/other Camp Makery bloggers live throughout Georgia, Mississippi, Kansas, and even Germany. There are 12 of us that blog here on a regular basis, with occasional guest bloggers. If you're intersted in becoming a guest blogger, email me for more information!

You can contact us with any questions by emailing lauren@campmakery.com. We'd love to hear from you and try to answer every single email. If you're interested in sponsoring a post, providing product for a review or for a giveaway, we'd love to hear from you so we can discuss if it would be a good fit for our brand and readership.

If you want to repost anything from this site, please credit the blogger, the photographer, and Camp Makery. Please also link back to the original post, and email us to ask permission first. We also ask that you not repost the entire post, but instead just use 1 or 2 final photos with a brief description of the project, and not include any steps of the recipe or DIY. Thank you so much!
