I like to have a few items in my home that are a little bit quirky, unqiue, memorable, creative, and hopefully some things that I made. I just don't like having a home that looks like it came straight out of a catolog; I like to put my touch on it, you know? Well this simple rug tutorial is a great way to do just that. It's almost a work of art in itself and will make a great statement piece no matter where you put it.
- 3 feet x 5 feet rug pad
- bright spandex fabric
- 2 pack of 3/8 inch by 50 feet of sisal rope
- hot glue gun
- wax paper
- measuring tape
This was one of my favorite projects I did inspired by rope. I liked it so much I would even reccomend makeing it bigger if you have a space that needs a larger on. Or you could add more crazy ribbons, yarns, and fabrics to the coiled ropes and turn it into some funky wall art!
